Georgia Lottery Corporation – PAC-MAN Second Chance Promotion

1. Eligibility:

The Georgia Lottery Corporation’s PAC-MAN^® Second Chance Promotion ("the Promotion") is open to each eligible original purchaser at retail of a Georgia Lottery non-winning $2 PAC-MAN^® Scratcher Game Ticket ("Entrant"). An Entrant must also be a legal resident of the United States, who is 18 years of age or older. Employees of the Georgia Lottery Corporation ("GLC" or "Georgia Lottery" or "Sponsor"), IGT Corporation, IGT International, BBDO Atlanta, Pollard Banknote, Scientific Games Inc., MDI Entertainment, LLC and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents, contractors, advertising/promotional agencies, (collectively, "Sponsors"), and immediate family members living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Promotion Entry:

To participate, a player must submit an eligible Georgia Lottery non-winning $2 PAC-MAN^® Scratcher (Game #1518) ("Scratcher") via the established Entry method for this Promotion. Entries for this Promotion will only be accepted via the Internet as set forth in Section 4.

All Entries submitted as set forth in Section 4 and received during a designated Promotion Entry Period as specified in Section 5 ("Entry Deadlines") will be included in the applicable Prize Drawings. 

3. Leaderboard Feature:

After a player has successfully submitted a promotional Entry as set forth in Section 4 for a chance to win a Prize from one of the Prize Drawings as set forth in Sections 5 and 6, he/she will be given an additional opportunity to win a Leaderboard Game Prize from the Leaderboard Game as set forth in Sections 5 and 6 by playing an interactive online PAC-MAN^® game with a Leaderboard feature (the Leaderboard Game).

A participant must use a different non-winning $2 PAC-MAN^® Scratcher each time he/she submits an Entry for a Prize Drawing or plays the Leaderboard Game. A participant may submit and Entry for a Prize Drawing or enter the Leaderboard Game no more than thirty (30) times per day over the course of the Promotion.

• Scores displayed are those earned during a single interactive game; they are not cumulative over the number of games played per day or over the course of the Promotion.
• Interactive online games played using the Leaderboard feature do no correlate to, and have no bearing on, the Promotional Drawings.
• The Leaderboard will display scores in real time and will list the top ten (10) scores only.
• The Leaderboard Game will be reset on a bi-weekly basis over the course of the Promotion.
• A first-, second- and third-place Prize (collectively, the “Leaderboard Prizes”) will be awarded at the conclusion of each bi-weekly period.
• The Leaderboard Prizes will be awarded in the order of the participants whose names appear first, second and third on the Leaderboard.
• Over the course of the Promotion, no participant will be eligible to win more than one (1) first-place, one (1) second-place and one (1) third-place Leaderboard Game Prize.

4. Entry Requirements:

1. Only non-winning $2 PAC-MAN^® Scratchers (Game #1518) can be used for this Promotion. Hand-delivered Entries will not be accepted for this Promotion and will be deemed invalid.
2. To enter, a player must go to the Georgia Lottery’s website at www.galottery.com/pacman and successfully complete a registration or login. To enter the Promotion, an Entrant must be a registered member of the Georgia Lottery Players Club. Entries can be entered manually via the Georgia Lottery website or via mobile web. Mail Entry is not applicable in this Promotion. If you are not already a member of the Georgia Lottery Players Club, go to www.galottery.com to join.
3. Each applicable Scratcher used for this Promotion must have been issued by the Georgia Lottery in an authorized manner during the period referenced in Section 5 ("Entry Deadlines"), must be intact and must not be mutilated, altered, reconstituted or tampered with in any manner.
4. The Georgia Lottery will not be responsible for Entries submitted incorrectly or received outside of the established Entry deadlines for the Prize Drawings as specified in Section 5 ("Entry Deadlines"). Such Entries shall be deemed invalid.
5. Each Entry must contain current and valid information in order to be eligible. The Georgia Lottery will no change or update Entry information for an Entry that has already been submitted. The Georgia Lottery will not be responsible for numbers that are transposed or for information that is entered incorrectly.
6. Any Prizewinner whose Winner Notification Letter is returned undeliverable due to blocked emails, incorrect address information, or expired forwarding address notifications will forfeit his/her opportunity to win a Prize. Neither the Georgia Lottery nor its agents or designees will be required to attempt delivery of a Winner Notification Letter more than once.

5. Entry Deadline and Drawings:

Draws occur on a continuous basis, meaning the deadline for one draw is immediately followed by the beginning of a new draw period. All Entries are eligible for the Final Drawing unless otherwise disqualified in accordance with the rules. Entry deadlines are subject to change by the Georgia Lottery. Leaderboard Game

On each draw date, eligible entries will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the corresponding entry period. Odds of winning depend on the total number for eligible entries received and awarded for each drawing.

The Georgia Lottery Corporation reserves the right to conduct additional Drawings and award additional Prizes within the Promotion. Any amendments to the Promotion will be posted on the Georgia Lottery Corporation promotional website at www.galottery.com/pacman.

You can only enter 30 Entries per day. If you attempt to enter more than 30 Entries per day, you may be disqualified. If you attempt to enter any ticket that you did not purchase, you may be disqualified. Entrants must follow the on-screen instructions to enter. Multiple Entries using the same Georgia Lottery ticket and Entries via automated computer scripts or other programming techniques will be disqualified. If multiple Entries are submitted with the same ticket number, only the first Entry submitted will be valid. If a person submits a ticket that the person did not purchase himself/herself at retail, all of that person's Entries may be disqualified. Winning tickets in any of the three PAC-MAN^® Arcade Drawings will not be eligible to win any Prize in the final drawing.

Leaderboard Game Prizes

At the conclusion of each bi-weekly period for the Leaderboard Game, the participants with the top three highest scores on the Leaderboard will be eligible to receive a Prize as set forth above.

1. In case of a tie, the Prizewinners will share the Prize amount. In the event a Prizewinner is disqualified due to the eligibility requirements, the participant with the next highest score on the Leaderboard who satisfies the eligibility requirements will be awarded the Prize.
2. Following the Entry deadline date/time listed above, the Leaderboard will automatically reset.

7. Notification to the Winner:

The Georgia Lottery will contact each Winner via (1) phone call at the phone number provided, (2) via email at the email address provided, and/or (3) via certified mail at the street address provided in his/her Players Club profile upon entry into the Promotion. PAC-MAN^® Arcade Winners will be required to complete and sign a Winner Claim Form and return the form within twenty-one (21) days of the Drawing. Except where prohibited by law, PAC-MAN^® Arcade Winners will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and return it within twenty-one (21) days of the Drawing. If, after reasonable attempts to contact a Prize Winner by the Georgia Lottery Corporation, a Prize Winner does not return the form(s) within twenty-one (21) days of the Drawing, the Prize may be forfeited. In the event a Prize is forfeited, an alternate will be awarded the Prize.

8. General Provisions:

The Georgia Lottery Corporation, IGT Corporation, IGT International, BBDO Atlanta, Scientific Games International, Inc., MDI Entertainment, LLC and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents, contractors, advertising/promotional agencies, and employees assume no liability or responsibility for damages, losses, or injury resulting from this Promotion or acceptance or use of a Prize. Taxes and any other incidental expenses not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of a Prize Winner. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations shall apply.

By participating in the Promotion, all participants and Prizewinners agree to the Georgia Lottery's PAC-MAN^® Promotion Official Rules and the decisions of the Georgia Lottery, whose decisions shall be final in all respects and legally binding in all matters related to this Promotion. All participants and Prizewinners agree to release and discharge, hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor and Sponsors against any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage (including but not limited to property damage, personal injury and/or death), claims, actions, costs and expenses (including without limitation, all attorney's fees and court costs) arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with his/her participation in the Promotion, acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Prize or participation in any Prize-related activity, including but not limited to any travel-related thereto or any goods/services provided in connection with any Prize. Participants further acknowledge that Sponsor and Sponsors are in no manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any Prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purposes. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees of a Prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers' terms; therefore, Prizewinners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. Prizewinners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes on prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce these Official Rules and ensure the fair operation of the Promotion, including without limitation, barring and disqualifying individuals who do not comply with these Official Rules. By entering, participants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participants' rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor and Sponsors in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, participants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the Superior Court of Fulton County, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Records related to the Promotion (including, but not limited to, Entries, Drawing results and Winners lists) will be retained for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days after the last Drawing date.

Decisions of the President / CEO: In the event of any situation not provided for in these PAC-MAN^® Official Rules, or any conflict between any provisions of these rules, the decision of the President/CEO of the Georgia Lottery Corporation, or her designee, shall be final and binding.
